Shorterm Group are looking for PSV/Bus Engineers around the Reading area, to work on a Monday to Friday Early shift basis. You will be directly employed by the client on a full-time, PAYE basis.

We are seeking self-motivated individuals with a passion for the fast-paced and dynamic bus industry.

Working Hours:

* Working Hours: Monday to Friday
* Shift Pattern: 6.00 - 14.00

* Hourly Rate: 20.83p/h PAYE direct

Duties:
* Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining our buses.
* Attending to the daily driver reported defects.
* Investigating and diagnosing mechanical and electronic faults.
* Recording faults and the work performed to fix them using a tablet.
* Following safety instructions and reporting any issues.

Skills:
* Ability to manage work load independently.
* Possess at least an NVQ Level 2 qualification in the maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles (or an equivalent international qualification),OR have at least five years' experience in repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles, which you will need to provide evidence for.
* Possess IRTEC vehicle inspectors qualification or be prepared to gain this during your first 6 months
* While not essential, having a PCV licence would be a great advantage.
