Join our team as we transition our warehouse operations from Leeds to Steventon. Celebrating over 150 years of history, we are looking for a Warehouse Operative who is not just looking for a job but a career with a family-run business that values communication, idea development, and accountability.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Maintain Health & Safety and Environmental responsibilities as per company policies.
- Assist in stocktakes and manage warehouse operations with oversight from the head office.
- Participate in internal Risk Assessments and external audits.
- Full responsibility for all warehouse operations including monitoring and recording all goods in and out by product and batch numbering.
- Ensure accuracy of records and maintain warehouse product zones.
- Manage daily logistics requirements and communicate effectively with the Head Office team.
- Conduct daily HSE checks and maintain warehouse cleanliness and order.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Right to work in the UK.
- Full UK driver’s licence – own car is essential.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Warehouse Operations.
- Valid Forklift licence – essential.
- Computer literate with proficiency in all MS applications.
- First Aid and Fire Fighting Certificates are advantageous but not essential as training can be provided.
