An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client in Reading to join as a Maintenance Technician on a temporary basis and to start as soon as possible.
- Location: Reading
- Working Hours: 7AM - 3PM & 9AM - 6PM (alternating shifts)
- Job Type: Temporary position, 4-6 weeks initially with the potential to extend
- Salary: Up to 14.55 per hour
As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Cleaning, basic plumbing, replacing light bulbs, basic carpentry, painting / decorating, ground maintenance, escorting contractors on site, pool maintenance.
- Ensuring gates and buildings are locked / unlocked at the start and end of the day.
- Set alarm systems and respond to emergency call outs.
- Conducting building checks.
- Maintaining general presentation of the grounds.

The successful Maintenance Technician will have the following related skills / experience:
- Experience in a similar position.
- Plumbing, carpentry, and decorating skills.
- Manual handling.
- Good planning and organisational skills.
