Ourclientisamarketleadingprecisionmanufacturerandduetoincreaseddemandandexternalinvestment,theyarenowinneedofadditionalmembersofstaffacrossthebusinesswiththeToolmakerpositionbeingoneofhighimportance.TheycurrentlyneedanadditionaltwoToolmakerstojointheirteam.
KeyRequirementsneededforToolMakerapplicants:
- ProvenexperienceworkingasaToolmaker.
- PreviousexperienceworkingasaBenchFitter/MechanicalFitter,buildingandassemblingmechanicalproducts.
- Happytoworkinanopenworkshopwithotherengineers(beingateamplayeriskeytosuccessinthisrole)
- Abilitytoworktotechnicaldrawingsandmanufacturingprocesses.
- Whenneeded,beself-sufficientandmaintainownworkloadthroughoutthedaywithlimitedsupport.
- Experienceoperatingavarietyoftypicalhandtoolsandmachineryneededintoolmakingtrade(Mills,Lathes,Grinders)
KeyResponsibilitiesfortheToolMakervacancy:
- AbilitytooperatemanualmachinerysuchasMills,Lathes,Grindersetc.
- Responsibleforcreatingthejigs,mouldsandfixturesusedtoassistinthemanufacturingprocess.
- Abilitytodeliveraccuratemeasurementstoensuretoolefficiency.
- Utilizingandunderstandingtechnicaldrawingstoworktotighttolerances.
- Planningworkefficientlyandeffectivelytomeettoolroomstandards.
- Ensureallpersonalprotectiveequipmentisidentified,alwaysavailable,correctlyusedandallassociatedproblemsarereportedtomanagement.
- Documentandupdatediehistoryandotherworkrecords.
- RecordallrelevantdatainrelationtotoolingandrecordontheToolRoomdatabase.
