Hays Education is one of the market-leading agencies in Barnsley and is now looking for Teaching Assistants in the area to assist with the rising demand for supply staff. Your New Role
The roles we have vary dependent on the needs of each school, and can be on a full or part-time basis. Working as a supply Teaching Assistant suits those who have a passion for working within a school and can be flexible and adaptable, due to the diversity of the schools we work with. We are currently looking for TAs who have a desire to work with children. This could be within a full classroom, taking a small group to improve a core skill for example reading, or provide 1:1 care for an individual child with SEN.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Experience working with primary aged children for at least 20 days in the last 2 years, either as a Teaching Assistant or as a Volunteer i.e within a youth organisation, sports coaching etc.
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Ideally, hold a relevant qualification, but this is not a necessity
- Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
