One of our clients are looking for a Contract Manager to assist them working in Redcar on the Sofia Windfarm project. This role offers some wfh but you would need to commit to 3/4 days on site.Set-up:* ASAP start* 6-month initial contract* Site in Redcar* Hybrid role - ¾ days on site * Inside IR35
Key Responsibilities:* Establish, manage, and negotiate project specific claims (including insurance claim) and variation orders to / from subcontractors and contractors/suppliers.* Preserve rights and entitlements as provided in the Contract.* Ensure notices and notifications are given in line with contract requirements.* Support and provide guidance to project and site teams on general contractual issues.* Ensure the successful execution of site activities contracts as per agreed commercial obligations
Client wants:* At least 10 years' experience in international EPC contracts, preferably in energy and renewable energy sectors.* Strong Commercial/negotiation and legal skills.* Excellent computer skills in MS-Windows and Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).* Fluent in English (oral and written), knowledge of any other language is appreciated.* Planning, organization, negotiation and presentation skills.
