Location: Redcar (Hybrid role) 
Hours: Monday to Friday, Full Time
Salary: Negotiable DOE

We are working with an established manufacturing business looking for a Junior Sales Engineer to support customer acquisition, sales coordination, and program management activities. This role is ideal for someone with early career experience in sales support or program coordination, particularly within technical manufacturing environments. 

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Support:

• Assist in controlling part prices and tooling costs
• Support the preparation of cost models and quotes for prototypes and mass production
• Maintain customer portals and manage sales-related data

Program Management:

• Support project meetings and documentation
• Track project timelines and key milestones

Communication & Coordination:

• Act as a point of contact for customer documentation
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure project alignment
• Participate in on-site customer visits to understand technical and commercial needs

Change Management:

• Assist in initiating and tracking change requests
• Support customer release and audit activities

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• 1–2 years’ experience in sales support, program coordination, or customer-facing roles
• Familiarity with SAP, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proactive, reliable, and eager to develop in a technical sales environment
