My client is a leading global aerospace business based in Birmingham.
Description
- Drive reliable and meaning Standard Costing within the plant including daily costing updates
- Execute the annual cost roll for material, labour and overhead
- Supporting new product development cost estimates and analysis
- Activities and analysis to improve overall accuracy of product cost
- Partner with on-going cost reviews
- Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities
- Complete monthly account reconciliations and financial performance analysis
- Monitor processes and controls relating to financial transactions, recommending and implementing improvements with the Controller and business partners
- Work closely with non-finance team members to drive cost improvements and analysis in all production activities
- Partner in Annual Budget and Quarterly Forecasting
- Provide Meaningful Business Analysis
Profile
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Strong proficiency in Excel and strong working knowledge of other office programs
- Strong analytical skills; experience working with large data sets is a plus
- Ability to work well in a cross-functional manufacturing environment
Job Offer
- £350 - £400 per day
- Interim to permanent opportunity
