- Produce monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts
- Prepare and submit Quarterly VAT returns
- Maintain accurate financial records using SAGE
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations and oversee cash flow management
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors and HMRC
- Support directors with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting
- Prepare and process monthly payroll through SAGE
- Lead annual Audit.
- AAT qualified or part-qualified CIMA (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a similar management accounting role, ideally within an SME
- Strong working knowledge of SAGE accounting software (essential)
- Self-motivated and able to manage a broad remit with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Strong analytical skills.
- Working knowledge or XERO/ Salesforce/ BI reporting tools would be a distinct advantage.
