The role of Quality Engineer involves ensuring high standards of quality across all manufacturing processes and products within the industrial/manufacturing sector. This position will focus on implementing and maintaining quality systems while driving continuous improvement in the engineering and manufacturing department.

Description

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations across all manufacturing activities.
  • Develop and maintain quality control systems to monitor production processes effectively.
  • Conduct regular quality audits and provide detailed reports on findings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Analyse quality data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
  • Provide technical support to the engineering and manufacturing teams on quality-related matters.
  • Assist in training staff to ensure quality standards are understood and upheld.

Profile

A successful Quality Engineer should have:

  • A strong educational background in engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and other relevant quality frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret quality data.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in quality management tools and software is advantageous.
