Salary Range: £30,000 - £35,000 Benefits
CNC Machinist Hours & Shift Patterns: Afternoon shift
CNC Machinist Location: Redditch
Weekly Hours: 12:00 – 20:00 Monday – Thursday & Friday 12:00 – 16:00
Rotating Shifts: Afternoon shifts – Flexible hours to suit
Orion are currently working with an innovative manufacturing company based in Redditch who are looking for an experienced and hard-working CNC Machinist to join the team.
All applicants must have the right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.
CNC Machinist Duties & Experience:
- Vertical Milling on 3 axis machinery
- Basic maintenance of machinery
- Experience with large batch manufacturing
- Minimum 3 years
- Must have experience in horizontal turning (not vertical boring)
- Competent in tooling changes
- Mill Turn Experience: Not required, but beneficial
- Machines: 3-axis horizontal milling machines
- Software: FANUC (G-code/M-code understanding required)
- Programming: Not required to program from scratch but must be confident editing speeds/feeds.
