Job Summary As a Client Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, managing their accounts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality accounting services. You will work closely with the owner/director to nurture client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
- Oversee the preparation and review of accountancy services
- Act as the key liaison between clients and internal team, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
- Review work prepared by junior staff and support their professional development.
- Identify opportunities for additional services and support business development efforts.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant accounting standards, legislation, and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate records and manage client deadlines effectively.
- Attend client meetings, either in person or remotely, as required.
Qualifications and Skills ACA / ACCA qualified OR qualified by experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
- Experience in mentoring or supervising junior team members.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
