1:1 Teaching Assistant - Redditch
Monarch Education are currently working alongside a Primary school in the Redditch area to find a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to start after May Half Term until the end of July 2026. This role will involve working with a Y2 child who has severe SEND needs. If successful in this role, you may be needed in the new academic year 25/26. It is essential that you have experience working with pupils with additional needs to be considered for this role.
Requirements of applicant:
- Ideally a minimum L3 qualification in SEND, Childcare or Education
- Experienced supporting children with mild to severe SEND needs
- A Minimum of 2 years experience supporting people with SEND
- Strong individual who is confident adapting to different educational settings
- Have good organisational and planning skills
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for supporting a Y2 pupil with mild autistic needs
- Making sure that the pupil and all children are kept safe at all times
- Encourage the social development of children during group learning activities and break times
- Ensuring the pupil is kept up to speed with the rest of the class
- Provide regular feedback to parents based off pupil progress and achievement
- Keep up to date records on pupil progress and achievement

Salary: 72.87 - 105.89 per day (Reviewed after 12 weeks placement*)
