Maintenance Team Leader Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 (including shift allowance)Location: RedditchShift Pattern: Rotating shifts including nights (with long weekends)A leading tier-one automotive manufacturer is seeking an experienced Maintenance Team Leader to support the growth of its maintenance function. This role comes at a pivotal time as the business invests in new machinery and expands its engineering team to meet increased production demands.Role Overview:The Maintenance Team Leader will be responsible for leading a shift-based team of multi-skilled engineers, ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical and electrical systems across the site. The role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge and the ability to drive planned maintenance and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:* Lead and coordinate a team of maintenance engineers across mechanical and electrical disciplines.* Deliver and manage planned maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and optimise equipment performance.* Provide technical support and fault-finding expertise, * Support the integration and commissioning of new machinery.* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and promote a culture of continuous improvement.Candidate Profile:* Proven experience in a mechanical/electrical maintenance leadership role within a high-volume manufacturing environment.* An understanding of PLC systems, ideally with Siemens is highly desirable* Ability to lead and motivate teams across rotating shifts.* Proactive approach to problem-solving and team development.Shift Details:* Three rotating shifts (but design to have long weekends)#This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and technically skilled leader to join a high-performing team in a globally recognised manufacturing environment.Interested?
