We are looking for a Laser Programmer/ Setter Operator for our client based in Redditch.
As a Laser Setter/Operator/Programmer your duties will include:
- Programming: Create and modify laser cutting programs using the AB interface.
- Setting & Operating: Set up and operate the Amada laser machine efficiently and safely.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and understand engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Maintenance: Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on the laser machine.
To be successful in the role of Laser Setter/Operator/Programmer, you will need:
- Proven experience operating and programming Amada laser machines.
- Strong understanding of laser cutting processes and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Team player with good communication skills.
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday 07:00-15:30
- Friday 07:00-13:30
Pay:
- From 14.50 per hour - paid weekly
