Call or email Job Ref:FAMILY LEGAL ASSISTANT/LEGAL SECRETARY:The role will include maintaining Fee Earner’s diary, arranging meetings and appointments. Dealing with new enquiries, initiating and completing the setup of new matters, to include all onboarding and due diligent processes, such as identification verification and complying with anti-money laundering regulations. Diligent typing, printing and processing of dictations. Organising, e-filing and scanning documents into our Case Management System whilst also maintaining the paper files with accuracy and efficiency. Managing the billing process, to include generating and coordinating invoices on a monthly basis plus chasing any outstanding payments. Requesting payments and recording receipts of monies, to include liaising with our Accounts Team. Opening and archiving all paper and electronic files. Dealing with routine client correspondence and queries. Attending to clients both in person and on the telephone in a confident manner with excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating a high level of customer care. Dealing with third party agencies, to include Counsel, Courts, Experts Fully conversant with Word, Outlook and Excel with experience of working with electronic Case Management Systems.
