Description
- Work closely with our Machine shop team to improve process flow and NPI
- Drive production efficiency and quality through process improvements and lean manufacturing principles.
- Implement new technologies and equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and develop effective solutions.
- Prepare and present technical reports to inform management and stakeholders on production progress and challenges.
- Develop and manage project budgets and timelines to ensure targets are met.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the manufacturing environment.
- Provide technical training and guidance to production staff.
- Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay abreast of industry trends and advancements.
Profile
A successful Manufacturing Engineer should have:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the Industrial / Manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A solid understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
