Day shift, early finish on Friday

Are you a skilled and experienced Toolmaker? The successful candidate will be responsible for the manufacture, maintenance, and repair of tooling and dies to precise engineering drawings within tight tolerances.

Working for a leading global manufacturer of precision-forged and machined components. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility producing high-performance tooling for the aerospace and automotive industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture extrusion, mould, and finish dies from raw materials
  • Produce single-stage clip tools
  • Operate manual and CNC machinery
  • Manual milling and turning
  • 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC milling (Heidenhain and WinMax controls)
  • Perform manual compensation and bench work
  • Polish tools to 320-grain finish
  • Carry out PPM servicing and repair of tooling
  • Respond to and resolve tooling breakdowns

Requirements:
  • Toolmaker apprenticeship or minimum 5 years' experience in a toolroom environment
  • Experience setting and operating CNC machinery
  • Ideally experienced in heavy manufacturing, preferably aerospace or automotive sectors
  • Solid understanding of engineering drawings and measurement tools
