About the Role
We are seeking professional and dependableClass 1 (C+E) Driversto join our team in Redditch on anad hoc basis. This position is perfect for drivers who value flexibility and can make themselves available Monday to Friday, depending on operational needs.
The role involves a variety of Class 1 driving assignments, including trunking, deliveries, and collections for a range of clients. Start times and shift patterns may vary, so a flexible approach is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Class 1 (C+E) driving duties, including trunking, deliveries, and collections.
- Ensure goods are transported safely and securely in line with company and client standards.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company policy.
- Adhere to all road transport and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Maintain a professional image and represent the company positively at all times.
Requirements
- Full UK Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence.
- ValidDriver CPCandDigital Tachograph Card.
- Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience.
- No more than6 penalty points(no DR, IN, or DD convictions).
- Good understanding of UK road networks and transport legislation.
- Reliable, flexible, and committed to delivering excellent service.
