We are working with a well established manufacturer in the industrial coatings sector who are continuing to invest and scale their commercial presence across the UK. They are seeking a high performing Area Sales Manager to take ownership of the North of England region, developing existing accounts while driving targeted new business activity.


You will be joining a supportive team environment with excellent technical resource behind you. The role combines account development, solution led selling, product demonstrations, and long term customer relationship management.


Key responsibilities:

• Manage and grow revenue across an established customer base
• Identify and convert new business opportunities across key industrial sectors
• Deliver product trials and technical demonstrations in partnership with internal specialists
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide reliable forecasting
• Conduct regular customer visits in line with agreed KPIs and commercial priorities
• Attend trade events, exhibitions, and industry networking opportunities
• Contribute to wider team performance and share market insights
• Uphold brand standards and maintain strong product knowledge through ongoing training


Ideal experience:

• Proven track record in field based B2B sales
• Coatings, paint, chemicals or other industrial technical product experience preferred
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
• Skilled in new business prospecting and pipeline development
• Self motivated with strong organisational ability
• Full driving licence and based in the North
