Description

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems to align with industry standards.
  • Proficient in all things AS9100
  • Hands on approach and very involved in all the systems
  • Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and certifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues effectively.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
  • Monitor and report on key quality metrics to senior management.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on quality systems and processes.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of quality-related activities.
  • Work closely with suppliers to maintain quality standards across the supply chain.

Profile

A successful Quality Systems Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in managing quality systems within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient in all things AS9100
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Expertise in conducting audits and implementing quality assurance processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A relevant degree or professional qualification in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
