As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and interpreting changes in the legal and regulatory landscape, collaborating across teams to design effective compliance strategies, and leading our initiatives on REACH and RoHS regulations. You will also conduct internal audits, manage controlled goods, and ensure accurate documentation for regulatory compliance. Your role is pivotal, ensuring that compliance is woven into the fabric of our organisation, and you'll play a key part in educating and guiding your colleagues to foster a strong compliance culture.
Hours of Work: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Compliance Officer Requirements:
- Significant experience in regulatory compliance, export controls, or environmental regulations within the industry.
- Strong understanding of UK legal and regulatory requirements, including REACH and RoHS.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record of conducting internal audits and managing compliance documentation.
Compliance Officer Benefits:
- Salary: Competitive, ranging from £45,000 to £50,000 per annum.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service.
