Main Purpose of the Role:
This is a great opportunity for a Junior Finance Assistant to grow their career within a dynamic, fast-paced e-commerce environment. You'll play an integral role in a supportive finance team, contributing to process improvements, strengthening financial controls, and driving operational support as the business continues its rapid expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process sales and purchase invoices accurately using Xero
- Perform bank reconciliations, including purchases via Soldo
- Ensure invoices are correctly mapped from A2X in Xero
- Support month-end procedures and reconciliations
- Assist with statutory audits and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
- Contribute ideas for improving financial and commercial processes
- Carry out general administrative finance duties as required
Requirements:
- Ideally 1+ year's industry experience
- AAT Level 2 qualified
- Proficiency with accounting software (Xero experience is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and initiative in problem-solving
- Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism and discretion
- Strong ownership of tasks and proactive work ethic
- Excellent communication and written English
- Strong numerical skills and Excel competence (essential)
