My client is seeking a motivated and detail-orientated Customer Care Coordinator to join their busy and dedicated team. Reporting to the Head of Customer Care/Customer Care Manager, this role involves working closely with both internal teams and external parties such as customers, suppliers and contractors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all customer care activities are executed efficiently and effectively, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Ensure all incoming calls are answered professionally, courteously, and issues are logged accurately.
  • Coordinate the supply of materials and subcontractor services to ensure timely maintenance and defect resolution.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Head of Customer Care/Customer Care Manager to ensure all defects are followed up and resolved by the appropriate personnel.
  • Manage the Customer Care monitor and check invoices, forwarding them for payment.
  • Liaise with the Buying department to order materials as required.
  • Report defects to subcontractors daily and arrange completion of end-of-defect works.
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure remedial works are completed within set timescales.
  • Coordinate with Sales Teams to ensure all customer queries are promptly addressed.
  • Schedule appointments for Suppliers, Sub-Contractors, and other teams to address outstanding problems.
  • Perform other reasonable tasks as requested by managers in line with operational needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Proven ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external personnel.
  • Strong coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously.
  • Professional, smart appearance and enthusiastic demeanour.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing operational needs.
  • Polite and effective telephone manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willing to learn bespoke software packages.
