We are hiring a Payroll Transition Specialist for our Redhill location. This is a great opportunity to join our Payroll Team as a Payroll Transition Specialist, where you will work within a team to provide a high-quality service to our large portfolio of clients.
In this role you will be responsible for many aspects of the Payroll set up of new clients using our OneDB service along with other Payroll tasks that need to occur on a monthly/yearly basis.
This will involve you liaising with clients, other payroll providers and our internal teams to ensure an efficient onboarding experience involving payroll set up and reconciliation requirements as well as day to day tasks such as monitoring payroll running, caseworks, BACS files, ensuring all service delivery promises are met in an accurate and consistent manner

The Role
- Involvement from start of payroll onboarding for new installations.
- Completion of ACF summary based on DD questionnaire.
- Involvement of regular meetings regarding onboarding of the payroll.
- Raising queries with client/previous administrators to obtain correct information for transition.
- Obtaining new PAYE reference number if applicable or ensuring switch over to current PAYE reference number with HMRC.
- Application of SUN from sponsoring bank.
- Involvement with CPI regarding information they request or any queries they have.
- Overseas payments set up on Convera.
- Reconciliation of live data and updating static data onto GPS.
- Assisting Payroll Manager with Offshore training, work transition to Offshore, other general adhoc yearly/monthly tasks and BACS submissions.
The Requirements
- Progression in CIPP qualification would be an advantage.
- Significant and proven experience dealing with pensioner payroll administration.
- Interpersonal skills to included excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to influence others in support of change.
- Good time management skills and the ability to organise and prioritise own workload.
- Able to work to a high level of accuracy.
- Able to work well under pressure, stay focussed and meet targets.
- Computer literate with fast and accurate keyboard input skills and an intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Numerical, analytical and problem solving abilities.
