Our client are a successful, growing IT services and communications organization with an opportunity for anIT Infrastructure Engineerto join their team based out of their offices inRedhill, Surrey.


In this role, you will be involved in the day-to-day support, management and project delivery of their corporate IT infrastructure and clients' IT infrastructure. Experience in a managed services environment - MSP ideally sought.


For this role, you must either be eligible for (and happy to undergo) DV-level UK security clearance or hold DV clearance (min 10+ year UK residency). If you don't hold DV clearance but are eligible, they will support you in this process.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Build, maintain & support company and client IT infrastructure
  • Implementation of project-based work as required
  • Configuration management and adherence to change control procedures
  • Once established in the environment, participate in 24/7 support call rota


Key skills required:

  • Windows OS administration, including: PowerShell, Active Directory management, Group Policy, User/ group management
  • In-depth VMWare
  • MS Exchange, spam filtering, cloud messaging & continuity
  • NAS/ SAN storage
  • IT Security, anti-virus, encryption, authentication
  • High availability, clustering & disaster recovery
  • Sound IP networking fundamentals


Additional skills of interest include:

  • Linux
  • Mobile device management - MDM or Blackberry UEM server
  • SNMP monitoring tools
  • Microsoft certifications a bonus
