Daytime Healthcare are assisting a national supported living provider to find a Support Worker to join the team in Redhill, Surrey.

You will be supporting an individual in his own flat with learning disabilities and autism. The person we support needs support with undertaking tasks around the house such as cleaning, cooking, and doing laundry. The person we support also enjoys puzzles, watching films, watching TV, visiting museums and trips to the seaside. The service is close to a main road with good bus routes and the local town is a 10-15 minute walk away.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting our people to be engaged in all day to day living activities, including making full use of their community and beyond.
  • Supporting our people with social activities, and connecting with family and friends.?
  • Supporting the management of our people’s finances.
  • Keeping our people’s home clean and fresh, and going shopping.?
  • Providing, and encouraging, personal care.?

Experience in social care is not essential, we provide a full range of accredited and award winning training programmes at no cost to yourself, including the Health and Social Care Diploma that will really support your career progression.

Applicants will need a full UK Driving License and access to their own car due to nature of the role.
