About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate SEND Teacher to join our inclusive team. You’ll support pupils with a range of special educational needs, delivering tailored lessons and interventions that help every child thrive.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for pupils with SEND
Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment
Collaborate with support staff and external professionals
Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews
Implement IEPs and Behaviour Support Plans
Support pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech/language needs
Promote positive behaviour and strong home-school communication
Contribute to enrichment and staff development

Essential Requirements:

QTS
Experience teaching pupils with SEND
Knowledge of inclusive strategies and SEND Code of Practice
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Desirable:

SEN qualifications (e.g. NASENCO, autism training)
Experience writing/reviewing EHCPs
Familiarity with assistive technology
Experience supporting pupils with complex medical/physical needs
