About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate SEND Teacher to join our inclusive team. You’ll support pupils with a range of special educational needs, delivering tailored lessons and interventions that help every child thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for pupils with SEND
  • Create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with support staff and external professionals
  • Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews
  • Implement IEPs and Behaviour Support Plans
  • Support pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech/language needs
  • Promote positive behaviour and strong home-school communication
  • Contribute to enrichment and staff development

Essential Requirements:

  • QTS
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEND
  • Knowledge of inclusive strategies and SEND Code of Practice
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Desirable:

  • SEN qualifications (e.g. NASENCO, autism training)
  • Experience writing/reviewing EHCPs
  • Familiarity with assistive technology
  • Experience supporting pupils with complex medical/physical needs
