- Residential Property Transactions – Managing sales and purchases of homes, examining title documents, evaluating contracts, and ensuring all legal aspects are adhered to.
- Liaison with Clients and External Contacts – Communicating with clients, estate agents, financial institutions, and legal representatives to address legal matters and progress cases.
- Searches and Legal Investigation – Undertaking local authority and other property-related searches, flagging potential issues, and advising clients appropriately.
- Drafting Legal Paperwork – Composing and reviewing key documentation such as sale agreements, transfer forms, and mortgage documents.
- Handling Exchange and Completion – Coordinating exchange of contracts, financial settlements, and recording ownership changes.
- Finalising Post-Completion Duties – Filing Stamp Duty documentation and lodging applications with HM Land Registry.
- File Management – Balancing multiple transactions simultaneously, ensuring high-quality service and timely completion of each matter.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in handling residential conveyancing cases, as either a Conveyancer or Paralegal.
- Thorough understanding of the conveyancing cycle with the ability to handle files independently.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities, with confidence in dealing with clients and professional contacts.
- Meticulous attention to accuracy and a strong commitment to outstanding client service.
