- Residential Conveyancing – Overseeing property sales and acquisitions, reviewing deeds, scrutinising contracts, and ensuring legal obligations are met.
- Client and Third-Party Communication – Engaging with clients, agents, lenders, and solicitors to manage enquiries and advance transactions.
- Title Checks and Legal Research – Carrying out local authority searches and related investigations, identifying potential legal concerns, and advising clients accordingly.
- Legal Document Preparation – Drafting and revising critical forms such as sale contracts, TR1 forms, and mortgage documentation.
- Contract Exchange and Completion – Managing the contract exchange process, handling funds transfers, and ensuring legal title updates.
- After-Completion Tasks – Submitting SDLT returns and registering changes with HM Land Registry.
- File Supervision – Managing several cases concurrently while maintaining excellent service standards and meeting deadlines.
- Minimum of 4 years’ direct experience dealing with residential conveyancing matters, either as a Conveyancer or Legal Assistant.
- Sound knowledge of the conveyancing workflow, with the ability to run files autonomously.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in handling client and professional relationships.
