My client is seeking a highly organised and efficient finance/Office Administrator to join their team. This role involves a wide range of administrative and financial responsibilities, ensuring smooth operations within the office. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple tasks with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. 

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage accounts administration, including sales and purchasing ledgers using SAGE 200.
  • Handle sales order processing, invoicing, and dispatch, ensuring all customer interactions are handled within 24 hours.
  • Perform general reception and office management tasks, such as managing telephone lines, emails, post management, and maintaining holiday records.
  • Collaborate with the financial team on various tasks including bank reconciliations, supplier payments, and financial reporting.
  • Administer contracts for utilities, travel bookings, and secretarial assistance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety rules, and quality assurance systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient in SAGE 200 for financial management tasks such as ledger management, bank reconciliations, and invoicing.
  • Experience in office management and administration.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional demeanour.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting, payroll management, and VAT returns is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
