Quantity Surveyor - Responsibilities & Requirements

Must have proven experience within a Construction environment
Client valuations and preparation of applications
Responsible for serving contract notices to clients in accordance with the contact and customer/company policy
Strong knowledge and understanding in construction planning and construction execution
Experience of JCT Contracts
Managing subcontractors’ applications, variations, payments, and final accounts
Sub-Contractor commercial management: Tendering process and negotiations, Placing orders, and contracts
Strong communication skills and stakeholder management skills are a must
Ongoing liaison with site teams, customer representatives and subcontractors
Positive, flexible, self-assured and motivated in approach
