JOB DESCRIPTION – DOMICILIARY CARE WORKER
Our client, a branch of a national Care franchise, is looking for full time female Domiciliary Carers to care for their clients in a professional and compassionate manner in and around the Reigate, Surrey area. Must be available for full time work and have excellent English communication skills, a UK Drivers Licence and own car to drive to various clients throughout the day to administer their care. NO SPONSORSHIP AND MUST HAVE A CAR.
You should be able to follow instructions and already be trained/experienced or be able to be trained to perform a variety of tasks to help clients which include:
- Help clients take prescribed medication
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.) and with physical therapy exercise
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
- Be a pleasant and supportive companion and play games or walk with clients and encourage exercise and entertainment if they are able
- Report any unusual incidents
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Skills
- Compassionate and willing to perform care work and drive to various different clients each day
- Full UK Drivers licence and own car
