CNC Machinist / Inspector - 12-month contract
Salary: 31p/h + overtime (3 shift)
Location: Renfrewshire
My client is at the forefront of the global aerospace industry and this role lends perfectly for a machinist to have exposure to the wider business, potentially leading to further opportunities
As a CNC Machinist you will be doing:
- Multi-skilled Engineer with the ability to use a range of machine tools manufacturing high quality aerospace components
- General CNC machining, grinding, milling & turning
- Working on 3-5 axis machines
- You must be able to critique your own work undertaking both visually and dimensionally inspecting components
- Feeding back information to Manufacturing Engineer and team
- Maintaining our excellent quality standards, being an integral part of our manufacturing process
Skillet and experience - CNC Machinist
- MUST HAVE completed an advanced modern engineering apprenticeship and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
- Control system experience
- Experience in 3 and 5-axis grinding, milling turning, grinding
