This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated school leaver to kickstart their career in finance while gaining hands-on experience and professional qualifications.
The Opportunity
As a Trainee Accountant, you’ll join a supportive and experienced team who will help you learn the ropes from day one. You’ll be involved in:
- Supporting with bookkeeping and preparing accounts.
- Assisting with payroll and VAT returns.
- Helping clients with day-to-day queries.
- Learning how to use professional accounting software.
- Working towards your AAT qualification (fully supported by the firm).
This role offers the perfect balance of on-the-job training and professional study, giving you the chance to build a long-term career in accountancy.
About You
We’re not looking for lots of experience - just enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to:
- Be finishing school or college (A-levels, BTEC, or equivalent).
- Have a genuine interest in finance, numbers, or business.
- Be organised and able to manage your time well.
- Have good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
- Be motivated to study towards your professional qualifications.
