Description
- Oversee and manage the financial operations of the organisation.
- Develop and execute financial strategies in alignment with the organisation's goals.
- Ensure financial compliance and risk management.
- Prepare financial reports for board meetings and stakeholder updates.
- Oversee the annual budgeting and planning process.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.
- Mentor and lead a team of Finance Department staff.
- Contribute to the overall strategic planning of the organisation.
Profile
A successful Head of Finance should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
- A professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Proven experience as Head of Finance, Director of Finance or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices.
- Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
