Our client is a successful bespoke high-value manufacturing business (2.5m turnover, seeking an experienced Finance Director to provide part-time support.
The Role of Finance Director
You will oversee financial management, ensuring robust cost control and accurate reporting for long-term, high-value projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing management accounts, budgets, and cashflow forecasts.
- Mentoring the Finance Manager and reviewing Xero-based accounts.
- Managing export licences and compliance for controlled products.
- Providing ad hoc analysis on productivity, sickness, and holiday trends.
- Supporting marketing administration for international trade shows.
- Overseeing statutory accounts and tax returns.
The Candidate for Finance Director
- Detail-oriented, hands-on, with a collaborative style to work closely with the owner.
- Strong Excel skills (including pivot tables and data handling).
- Experience in bespoke/long-term project manufacturing.
- Knowledge of import/export processes advantageous.
- Must be a qualified accountant
Location & Commitment
- Based in Richmond, London.
- On site Mondays and Thursdays (2 days per week).(Non negotiable )
