Enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher Wanted in Richmond! Ambitious School

Our ambitious school in Richmond is seeking an Enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to join our successful and growing Science department. We are keen to hear from Chemistry Teachers who are excellent practitioners and may have the drive and potential to take on a TLR and contribute to the ongoing development of Chemistry provision and extracurricular Chemistry. This is a prime opportunity for a passionate Chemistry Teacher to lead Chemistry initiatives and further Chemistry education. We need a dynamic Chemistry Teacher.

Location: Richmond Role: Chemistry Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Chemistry lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5 Chemistry).
  • Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for Chemistry concepts and practical Chemistry.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Chemistry curriculum.
  • Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Chemistry.
  • TLR opportunities may include leading a key stage in Chemistry, developing Chemistry practical schemes, or managing Chemistry resources.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Strong knowledge of Chemistry principles and a passion for practical Chemistry.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead Chemistry activities.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities within the Science department related to Chemistry.
