Our ambitious school in Richmond is seeking a Passionate Economics Teacher to join our successful and growing department. We are keen to hear from Economics Teachers who are excellent practitioners and may have the drive and potential to take on a TLR and contribute to the ongoing development of Economics provision and extracurricular Economics. This is a prime opportunity for an Economics Teacher to shape future economic thinkers within our Economics programme. We need a strong Economics Teacher.
Location: Richmond Role: Economics Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Economics lessons across Key Stages 4-5.
- Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for economic concepts and theories in Economics.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Economics curriculum.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Economics.
- TLR opportunities may include leading a key stage in Economics, directing Economics debate clubs, or managing Economics resources.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Economics or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Economics at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
- Strong knowledge of Economics principles and a passion for current economic issues.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead Economics discussions.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities within the department related to Economics.
