Enthusiastic Sociology Teacher Wanted in Richmond! Supportive Secondary School
Location: Richmond Role: Sociology Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Sociology lessons at Key Stage 4 and potentially A-Level.
- Inspire students to develop a critical understanding of sociological concepts, theories, and their application to society.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Sociology curriculum.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Sociology.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages discussion and analysis of social issues within a supportive framework.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Sociology or a related social science field.
- Proven experience teaching Sociology at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
- Strong subject knowledge of sociological theories, research methods, and contemporary social issues.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate engaging discussions.
- A commitment to fostering critical thinking and social awareness within a brilliant and encouraging setting.
