Our ambitious school in Richmond is seeking an Enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join our successful and growing Humanities department. We are keen to hear from Geography Teachers who are excellent practitioners and may have the drive and potential to take on a TLR and contribute to the ongoing development of Geography provision and extracurricular Geography. This is a prime opportunity for a passionate Geography Teacher to lead Geography initiatives and further Geography education. We need a dynamic Geography Teacher.
Location: Richmond Role: Geography Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5 Geography).
- Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for Geography concepts and geographical skills.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Geography curriculum.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Geography.
- TLR opportunities may include leading a key stage in Geography, developing fieldwork schemes, or managing Geography resources.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Geography or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Geography at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
- Strong knowledge of Geography principles and a passion for environmental and human Geography.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead Geography activities.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities within the Humanities department related to Geography.
