Science Teacher required for a successful and forward-thinking secondary school in Richmond, starting in September 2025.
This Science Teacher role is perfect for a subject specialist passionate about delivering high-quality Science education across Key Stages 3 and 4. As a Science Teacher, youll join a strong department with a clear curriculum vision, excellent resources, and a culture of collaborative planning. The role suits an ambitious and reflective Science Teacher eager to raise student outcomes and inspire a love of learning in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
This Science Teacher role would suit a qualified teacher with UK QTS and a relevant degree such as BSc (Hons) in Biology, Chemistry or Physics with a PGCE in Secondary Science, or an integrated MSc/MA with QTS.
Science Teacher Responsibilities:
- Teach KS3 and KS4 Science (specialism preferred but not essential)
- Plan lessons in line with the national curriculum and department schemes
- Track progress and provide targeted intervention
- Contribute to extracurricular STEM enrichment
What Were Looking For:
- UK QTS
- Degree in a Science-related subject with PGCE or PGDE in Secondary Science
- Confident subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills
