  • Oversee the design development of several water network projects by engineers and consultants from the initial concept design and feasibility stage to contract award.
  • Identify, analyse, mitigate project risks and realise opportunities to enable scope definition and robust pricing by contractors.
  • Ensure that contractors and any design changes during construction undertake the detailed design.
  • Be responsible for providing the Project Teams with the support they need during commissioning and handover of assets.
  • Undertake design reviews, ensuring robust and safe solutions whilst meeting business and operational requirements.
  • Act as the key contact for the CDM Designer or Principal Designer role during the initial design stages.
Hybrid – Maple LodgeAs part of this role, you must be on site 2-3 days a week, 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday.The successful candidate must drive and have a car, but please do apply if you don't, as we are open to those without.What you should bring to the role
  • Hold an Engineering HNC or a degree, or a master’s degree in a specific Engineering discipline – this will ideally be in a Civil Discipline.
  • Be a chartered engineer or approaching chartership status with a relevant professional organisation.
  • Understanding the principles of project delivery in process industries.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety in the Construction industry.
  • Understanding the decision of industrial processes in their Engineering discipline.
