About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and motivated Purchasing and Sales Administrator to join a successful and expanding company within the premium products sector. The main purpose of this critical role is to support the Director in owning high-quality operational support to the Purchasing and Sales teams, maintaining accurate records of supplier information, shipments and costs at all times.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing high-quality operational support across purchasing and sales functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership for maintaining accurate and up to date records of supplier information, shipments and costs.
  • Raise and process timely purchase orders through the internal ERP system.
  • Monitor stock levels and highlight requirements for replenishment to the Director.
  • Liaise with international suppliers to secure materials, confirm lead times and track shipments effectively to meet commitments.
  • Positively expedite shipments to influence lead times where required.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for coordinating hauliers and freight forwarders to arrange timely delivery of goods.
  • Committed to supporting the purchasing and sales teams with customer enquiries, stock availability and order updates.
  • Committed to supporting the purchasing and sales teams with reporting, data entry, and ad hoc administrative tasks.

About You

  • Previous experience in a purchasing, sales administration or similar support role.
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident and personable communicator, able to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong IT literacy in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with ERP systems or other purchasing software
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, adaptable and solution-focused approach to work.
