The Mechanical Design Engineer will:
- Use their knowledge of plastic injection moulding and sheet metal to modify existing products and deal with change requests
- Deliver innovative, cost effective solutions using industry best practices
- Manage engineering design changes
- Support the design of jigs, fixtures and tooling for testing
Key skills required - Mechanical Design Engineer:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- Demonstrable experience of working with plastic injection moulded designs
- Proficient with 3D CAD (CREO preferred)
- Experience of IP ratings would also be beneficial
- Good problem-solving skills and a creative approach for new ideas
