This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and skilled Year 5 Teacher to join the team and play a key role in guiding pupils through a crucial stage of their academic and personal development.
The RoleAs a Year 5 Teacher, you will:

Deliver a rich and engaging curriculum tailored to the needs of Upper Key Stage 2 learners

Prepare pupils for their final primary school years, building confidence, independence, and resilience

Monitor progress through effective assessment and use of data

Create a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, effort, and mutual respect

Work collaboratively with teaching colleagues and support staff

Communicate clearly and positively with parents and carers

Take an active part in school life, including enrichment activities and trips

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Proven experience in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience is advantageous but not essential)

Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and learning outcomes

A child-centred, proactive, and reflective teaching style

High expectations for both behaviour and academic achievement

Commitment to ongoing professional development

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
