Contract: Full-time, temp to perm
Salary: £34,398 – £52,490 (MPS to UPS plus TLR, 2025/26 academic year)

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Drama Teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

Significant leadership experience within a school or department

Experience teaching Drama across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)

Strong ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team

Excellent organisational and curriculum planning skills

Genuine enthusiasm for performing arts and pupil achievement

Outstanding classroom management and communication skills
Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Drama department, including curriculum planning and delivery

Teach engaging and high-quality Drama lessons across key stages

Inspire pupils to develop confidence, creativity, and performance skills

Monitor and assess student progress to secure excellent outcomes

Coordinate school productions and extra-curricular drama activities

Contribute to whole-school events and staff development initiatives
