About the Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver dynamic and well-structured lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 depending on your experience. This is a fantastic role for someone who can bring clarity, enthusiasm, and a love for learning into every lesson, helping students to develop both their confidence and their skills in Mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons that cater to students of varying abilities
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Create an inclusive, inspiring, and supportive classroom environment
- Encourage a growth mindset and foster independent learning
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to enhance teaching strategies
- Support students in reaching and exceeding their academic goals
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent, or has strong subject knowledge (non-QTS applicants with significant Maths expertise will be considered)
- Experience in teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is a bonus)
- A genuine passion for teaching Maths and helping students succeed
- Strong classroom management skills and effective communication abilities
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with a positive mindset
