A Finance Assistant is being recruited for an exciting, growing multi-entity business based in Ringwood.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will have responsibility for an area of the business that has a number of overseas entities:

  • Processing sales and purchase invoices
  • Reconciling supplier accounts and dealing with queries
  • Weekly payment runs and ensuring suppliers are paid on a timely basis
  • All bank transactions and daily bank reconciliations
  • Posting credit card payment via the company's CRM and accounts systems and reconciliations between the two systems
  • Creating debtor reports and ensuring customer payments are received
  • Reconciling inter-company balances
  • Staff expenses claims and reconciliation of credit card statements
  • Month end reconciliations and reports
  • Other ad hoc finance work as required


Key Skills Required

  • You will need to be able to demonstrate good transactional accounting experience (2-4 years)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of multi-currency accounting an advantage
