A Finance Assistant is being recruited for an exciting, growing multi-entity business based in Ringwood.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will have responsibility for an area of the business that has a number of overseas entities:
- Processing sales and purchase invoices
- Reconciling supplier accounts and dealing with queries
- Weekly payment runs and ensuring suppliers are paid on a timely basis
- All bank transactions and daily bank reconciliations
- Posting credit card payment via the company's CRM and accounts systems and reconciliations between the two systems
- Creating debtor reports and ensuring customer payments are received
- Reconciling inter-company balances
- Staff expenses claims and reconciliation of credit card statements
- Month end reconciliations and reports
- Other ad hoc finance work as required
Key Skills Required
- You will need to be able to demonstrate good transactional accounting experience (2-4 years)
- Strong Excel skills
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of multi-currency accounting an advantage
