Bookkeeper

BOOKEEPER REQUIRED - ESTABLISHED ACCOUNTANCY PRACTICE - - 25,000 to 28,000 - 2 DAYS IN POOLE / 3 DAYS IN RINGWOOD

We are working with an Accountancy practice based in Ringwood, who are looking to add an experienced Bookkeeper who can work closely with a key client and deliver a highly professional accountancy service.

The company have a key client based in Poole and provide on-site bookkeeping facilities for them 2-days per week and they require someone who can work at the clients premises and then work in the company office in Ringwood for 3-days a week. The role includes:

• Maintaining ledgers
• VAT returns
• Reviewing financial statements
• Preparing monthly and quarterly returns
• Completing monthly reports for clients
• Account preparation and filing

The ideal candidate should possess strong client relationship skills and have prior experience as an experienced bookkeeper. You will be working in a small, well-established team under the guidance of the Directors of the business. Essential qualifications and skills include:

• Experience with cloud accountancy support, including Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
• CIS experience (essential)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Comfort with IT and data inputting

Requirements:

• Previous Bookkeeping experience
• AAT Level 2 or 3 or qualified by experience
• Experience in an accountancy practice (preferred)
• Able to drive to clients premises (mileage allowance paid)
